Corporate Vocabulary & Workplace English
Understand and use the words your manager, HR, and colleagues actually use every day
When you walk into your first job, you will immediately hear words and phrases that you never learned in school or college. Words like "KPI," "bandwidth," "synergy," "loop me in," "take this offline." If you don't understand these words, you will feel lost, confused, and less confident in meetings and conversations.
This week, we will cover two types of corporate vocabulary: (1) Standard business words — formal words used in professional writing and speech, and (2) Corporate jargon/buzzwords — informal phrases that are used casually in offices and meetings.
Learn 10 words per day for 5 days. For each word, read the meaning, the Hindi explanation, and most importantly — the example sentence. Then try to use the word in your own sentence about your life or career.
